Christopher Cathcart -  Attorney at LawChristopher C. Cathcart was born on February 1, 1959 in Evanston, Illinois. Chris graduated from Costa Mesa High School in Costa Mesa, California in 1977. Chris received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach, majoring in finance, in May of 1981 with a grade point average of 3.81 (out of 4.00). Chris received his law degree from Florida State University College of Law in 1984, graduating in the top 23% of the class.

Chris clerked for the law firm of Pennington, Wilkinson & Dunlap in Tallahassee, Florida in 1982 and 1983 during his second and third years of law school. Chris was hired by the Pennington firm after graduation and worked with them until September, 1985, when he moved to Orlando and established his own firm. While at the Pennington firm, he practiced in the areas of business, real estate and bankruptcy law, and participated in many commercial litigation cases.

After establishing his firm in September, 1985 in Orlando, Chris has practiced primarily in the fields of business and real estate. He has substantial experience in the area of business litigation, purchase and sale of businesses, business break-ups and buyouts, partnership and corporate disputes, business collections, all co-owner disputes and other business related problems, procedures and planning.
